Android, but make it human
Android is made by Google and it's the largest mobile operating system in the world. Google set out to completely overhaul its flagship site – android.com – with two big goals in mind: strengthen loyalty among current Android users and give iOS users a reason to switch.
As Writing Director, I worked on the content strategy and led the voice and messaging across the site. A big focus was shaping a more human tone that felt fresh, playful, and relevant to a younger audience. Here are a few select pages.
Better together
Only Android gives you the freedom to choose your favorite brands and still enjoy a connected experience. This “Connected devices” hub shows how features like Quick Share, Fast Pair, and more help your devices stay in sync effortlessly.

Quick. Share.
Whether it’s sharing files, switching audio, or unlocking your Chromebook, we made it clear how Android keeps your devices working better together.

The Android Accessibility hub
We rethought the Android Accessibility hub to make it easier for users to find the tools that matter to them and to show that accessibility isn’t an add-on, it’s built into Android.

Keep your eyes on the road
By connecting your phone to your car, you get the best of Google like Maps, Assistant, and more – right on your car display. On this page, we highlighted how each feature comes to life on the road.
